Air Conditioning 4th year Apprentice in HOMEBUSH, New South Wales

Our client is an established Air-conditioning and Refrigeration installation and servicing organisation who have been servicing Sydney suburbs for years. Due to an increase in business, an opportunity has become available for a 4th year Apprentice. Air conditioning is a specialised trade, so if you are looking for long term career prospects then this is the first step towards making that happen! Your duties will include:
? Customer service
? Installing, repairing & servicing air-conditioning systems.
? Tightening of electrical connections carried out with visual inspection
? Check supply air temperature and return air temperature to ensure gas pressure levels are correct.
? Install components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, fuel, oil and chilled water
? Bolt, solder, rivet, weld or braze pipes to connect equipment, and check alignment and accuracy of fit
? Fill systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks and test-operate systems, check mechanisms and adjust
- Ideally looking for:
? Driver's license ?Essential (you will be required to drive to and from job sites)
? Genuine interest in air conditioning as a career
? Excellent communication skills
? Switched on, bright personality
? Willingness to learn
? Able to listen to instructions
? Understanding and appreciation for OH&S
